May Release at Technique Junkies

Image
Happy May! I can hardly believe it! Technique Junkies May releases are absolutely wonderful....a little flower power and some great images for Father's Day and military people in our lives! Today I am showcasing Father and Son Fishing paired with sentiment from Incredibly Proud . I used designer paper from P13 called Marble and then did a watercolor background with the father and son. Next and flicked some color down over that. I used the layer cloud stencil for the sky from ACLD. Bothe the sentiment and image are on dimensionals. My second card is a terrific image called Sunflowers with Text . I paired it with a sentiment from In Full Bloom Sentiments . I stamped the image on watercolor paper in versatile black and then watercolored the main image and used Brushos powders on script portion. The sentiment is on dimensionals and I used some rhinestones as a finishing touch. Check out the gotta have it all bundle, pictured below.  So fabulous. The new releases are 15% off through Ma...

Anthony's Paper Crafts celebrating Independence Day

Image
Happy June 15th! For our group posting this month, we're focusing on Independence Day or red, white and blue. I haven't crafted for a few days that I felt the need to do two creations. For my first card I used Floral Background 2  and stamped it in black. Next I colored in the flowers with a real red SU! marker. Some shimmery white dimensional paint was used for the flower centers and then I used some watercolors to flick blue onto the background. The sentiment was computer generated with the awesome site fontsquirrel.com.....the script is Dancing script. A navy border and white card base. My second card I used Woven Expressions by Jaskets Bountiful baskets  stamped in pacific point ink using the Misti. Next, I stamped the flowers from f lower baskets in black and colored in with real red ink. Shimmery white dimensional paint was used in flower centers and then I used a Kleenex crumpled up and on the pacific point ink pad and stamped the background with tissue. The basket we...

Bring on the Flowers with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Good day to everyone in bogland! It is my turn to post for Anthony's Paper Craft today. This month we have been featuring the single flower images. I used the Iris for my first card and the Daffodils for my second creation. I stamped the images on white cardstock, colored with Zig watercolor pens and then used marina mist as a sponged/distressed background. The designer paper is Hydrangea Lawns from dress my craft. LOVE this paper...it's about as thick as cardstock. I used some marina mist organza ribbon on the Iris card and distressed it by using the heat gun. Both sentiments are from Greetings set 1 . Go check out Anthony's new website here . He not only offers fabulous stamps, but a great assortment of other items, too! Have a great day! Pam

Easter time with Anthony's Paper Crafts

Image
Hi there! I am a day late and a dollar short. I spaced out our group post for the month! Oops. A day late is better than not at all!  Our group post is all about Easter. I chose this fabulous Woven Impressions Shaker Quality set from Jaskets on APC. Such fun, versatile stamps. I stamped the basket and fussy cut it out (minus the handle...which I stamped directly on the dp). Next, I stamped and colored my flowers and then fussy cut them out. I cut them up and arranged them how I wanted them to be in the basket. Lastly, I added some iridescent stickles to the flower centers. I computer generated the sentiment and die cut it out.....added another die cut as a layer behind the sentiment. I can't recall what paper pack this dp is from...sorry! Happy Easter everyone!
