Hugs, Kisses and Birthday Wishes

Image
I am in love with our February release. We have a birthday theme this month and it will not disappoint. Something for everyone! This stamp, Kisses and Wishes can be easily used for a guy or a gal. This was a super quick card. I used a lone piece of designer paper...not sure where it's from. The sentiment was stamped in black and the dp was layered with evergreen card stock and on a white card base. All of the new stamps are 15% off until Feb. 8th and the remainder of your order you can get 10% off by using my code TJ10Pam.

The Technique Junkies Wonderful February Release

Image
Happy February! Can you believe it? I can't! Over at Technique Junkies this month, they have THE BEST bunch of birthday stamps ever!  My first card I used Inside Out: Young at Heart Set of 10 . On the inside it says, "In your case, a really high one." So awesome!!! Using the split mandala stencil from ACLD, I spritzed the stencil with Pixie Spray, laid it on my paper and used a combo of wilted violet and mermaid lagoon distressed oxide sprays. Lavender rhinestones, lavender mat and the sentiment is on dimensionals. In the pic below are ALL the new stamps. Fabulous! This pic shows that you can get ALL of these for the low price of $92.99. I can attest that they're so much fun! For my card below, I used two new stamps. The Slimline Candles and Inside Out: Young at Heart . Slimline cards are all the rage! On the inside of this it says, "An old man, but still the man."I have been trying to use up scraps on my desk and I kept this rather monochromatic with the ...

Ring in the New Year with Technique Junkies January Release

Image
Yeah! It is release day and Happy New Year! Check out these new releases! Technique Junkies have really outdone themselves this time! My first card, I used Blooming Heart (#SD1103) and Lavender Friendship Sentiments (#SS146). I began with a piece of white card stock and randomly stamped the heart and then using my Zig watercolor brush markers, I set about coloring it. I used a lace embossing folder to add an extra bit of interest and black matting. The sentiment is on dimensionals. For this card, I used the elegant Poet Background (#S949). I stamped it on a scrap piece of designer paper...I apologize, I don't know what from. I used Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink and them embossed with hologram highlights. The sentiment is from Lavender Friendship Sentiments ((SS#146) and was stamped on very vanilla and distressed with blushing bride ink..on dimensionals. I am still on my watercolor journey and when I am watching my daughter's Aussie pup, Otis, I watercolor. Simple and...

Mother's Day with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Happy Thursday! Today it is my turn to post for Anthony's Paper Craft and this month we are focusing on Mother's Day and my teammate Misty's birthday month! For my first card, I used the lovely Tile 3 . I stamped it on watercolor paper and using a combination of watercolors and Zig watercolor brush markers, I painted it and then applied clear Nuvo drops for dimension and interest. I computer generated the sentiment and this is a card I will give one of my 3 sisters.  My second card was stamped with Floral background 2 . I think this is one of my very favorite floral images from Anthony. I stamped it on white cardstock and colored with Zig watercolor brush markers. I have been into splatters lately, so I added some after adhering my computer generated sentiment with dapper denim ink from SU! A black frame added for interest and adhered to a white card base. Mother's Day cards are a struggle for me as my mom is gone. I decided to take a different approach this year and ...

It's purple birthday day at Anthony's Paper Craft!

Image
Happy Thursday! Today we are showcasing purple birthday creations in honor of our team member, Misty LaVigne! Her birthday month is April! I chose to use Cupcakes 1 . I stamped the cupcake in noir black and used Zigg watercolor markers to color the image. Next, I cut it out and used a black marker all the way around the image so as not to show any cut marks. I used Nuvo champagne drops on the frosting for some bling. The designer paper is from Paper Rose and is called Abigail Lane. I used super fancy scalloped square dies and a tan card base to qualify for the scalloped ways to use it challenge on splitcoaststampers.com. This card measures 4.25 square. I wanted to keep the sentiment simple so I stamped it and made a banner end. The cupcake is popped up on dimensionals. I made another card....as this is by far, one of my fave stamps from APC. This is floral background 1 . I made the background with Cosmic Shimmer Powder in purple violet using watercolor paper. I spritzed paper wit...

Bring on the Flowers with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Good day to everyone in bogland! It is my turn to post for Anthony's Paper Craft today. This month we have been featuring the single flower images. I used the Iris for my first card and the Daffodils for my second creation. I stamped the images on white cardstock, colored with Zig watercolor pens and then used marina mist as a sponged/distressed background. The designer paper is Hydrangea Lawns from dress my craft. LOVE this paper...it's about as thick as cardstock. I used some marina mist organza ribbon on the Iris card and distressed it by using the heat gun. Both sentiments are from Greetings set 1 . Go check out Anthony's new website here . He not only offers fabulous stamps, but a great assortment of other items, too! Have a great day! Pam

Easter time with Anthony's Paper Crafts

Image
Hi there! I am a day late and a dollar short. I spaced out our group post for the month! Oops. A day late is better than not at all!  Our group post is all about Easter. I chose this fabulous Woven Impressions Shaker Quality set from Jaskets on APC. Such fun, versatile stamps. I stamped the basket and fussy cut it out (minus the handle...which I stamped directly on the dp). Next, I stamped and colored my flowers and then fussy cut them out. I cut them up and arranged them how I wanted them to be in the basket. Lastly, I added some iridescent stickles to the flower centers. I computer generated the sentiment and die cut it out.....added another die cut as a layer behind the sentiment. I can't recall what paper pack this dp is from...sorry! Happy Easter everyone! Check out all the designers projects: Chris Misty on her YouTube channel and Michael

Anthony's Paper Craft beautiful butterflies and coffee

Image
Today is my day to post for Anthony's Paper Craft. I decided to use this Butterfly 3 set which will be available for purchase March 1. I applied Stampin Up! markers in assorted colors and colored directly on the stamps. Next, I spritzed the stamp with water and stamped. Using a toothbrush, I splattered ink around, as well. The teal layer is actually a piece of white cardstock that I colored with a Bermuda bay marker. Now worries if you don't have the right color cardstock!  I am also submitting this into the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop put on by Lori Kobular...last day to enter is 2/28. You can read more about Turner syndrome on the blog hop website here . Butterflies are a symbol for Turner syndrome. For my next card, I used APC's Coffee 2 stamp set....so fun and the large wood background stamp. I am digging this background and I stamped it in vintage photo ink. The coffee cup was stamped in black on a scrap of rose designer paper, fussy cut, popped on dimensionals and cover...

Anthony’s Paper Craft and It’s a Girl Thing Turner Syndrome Blog Hop

Image
Hello everyone! Today is the Anthony's Paper Craft Design Team monthly blog hop - the first for 2021. This month we are throwing our support behind Lori Kobular and her " It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Blog Hop . Anthony's Paper Craft is one of 23 amazing sponsors on her blog hop and we thought it would be fun to show our support by doing one ourselves. According to the Turner Syndrome Foundation - The butterfly has become the symbol for "Turner Girls" because, just like a butterfly, they are considered fragile and beautiful miracles. Because it represents femininity, strength, and uniqueness, the butterfly was designated by TSSUS to become the Turner Syndrome symbol. "Butterflies fly on their own which is our hope for our girls." On March 1, Anthony's Paper Craft is releasing a brand new butterfly stamp set called Butterflies 3 and two of these sets are being offered as a prize on the “It's A Girl Thing Turner Syndrome 2021 ...

Valentine's Day with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
For this creation, I used Valentine's Day 2 and Love Frame . I stamped the hearts and fussy cut them out. Then they were placed on dimensionals. For the paper, I used a white card base and peach and black cardstock. My hearts were stamped on a random piece of designer paper. I believe it's from Basic Grey. A tiny puffy heart sticker at the top of the smaller heart was used and some pale pink pearls. Quick to make and hopefully, will make one of my Valentines' smile! Head over to anthonyspapercraft.com . Have a wonderful weekend! Pam

Splitcoaststampers mix and free for all challenge for 1/8/21

Image
Greetings to everyone out in blogland! I am on quest to revamp my blog and be better at posting here on a regular basis. There is always something crazy and new. I deleted my original google account as I no longer have the email address associated with it and it would NOT let me change it...so I deleted it and along with it, my original blog. Ugh. Oh, well! My card was done for the mix challenge on SCS to use at least 5 stamps and at least two mediums in our creation (has to have at least two to be considered mixed media). Also, the free for all was to use hearts and flowers. I managed two challenges....woot! This was a brushos watercolor background.  I hope that everyone is able to find some joy in the day! Hugs, Pam
