Bring on the Flowers with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Good day to everyone in bogland! It is my turn to post for Anthony's Paper Craft today. This month we have been featuring the single flower images. I used the Iris for my first card and the Daffodils for my second creation. I stamped the images on white cardstock, colored with Zig watercolor pens and then used marina mist as a sponged/distressed background. The designer paper is Hydrangea Lawns from dress my craft. LOVE this paper...it's about as thick as cardstock. I used some marina mist organza ribbon on the Iris card and distressed it by using the heat gun. Both sentiments are from Greetings set 1 . Go check out Anthony's new website here . He not only offers fabulous stamps, but a great assortment of other items, too! Have a great day! Pam

Easter time with Anthony's Paper Crafts

Image
Hi there! I am a day late and a dollar short. I spaced out our group post for the month! Oops. A day late is better than not at all!  Our group post is all about Easter. I chose this fabulous Woven Impressions Shaker Quality set from Jaskets on APC. Such fun, versatile stamps. I stamped the basket and fussy cut it out (minus the handle...which I stamped directly on the dp). Next, I stamped and colored my flowers and then fussy cut them out. I cut them up and arranged them how I wanted them to be in the basket. Lastly, I added some iridescent stickles to the flower centers. I computer generated the sentiment and die cut it out.....added another die cut as a layer behind the sentiment. I can't recall what paper pack this dp is from...sorry! Happy Easter everyone! Anthony's Paper Craft beautiful butterflies and coffee

Image
Today is my day to post for Anthony's Paper Craft. I decided to use this Butterfly 3 set which will be available for purchase March 1. I applied Stampin Up! markers in assorted colors and colored directly on the stamps. Next, I spritzed the stamp with water and stamped. Using a toothbrush, I splattered ink around, as well. The teal layer is actually a piece of white cardstock that I colored with a Bermuda bay marker. Now worries if you don't have the right color cardstock!  I am also submitting this into the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop put on by Lori Kobular...last day to enter is 2/28. You can read more about Turner syndrome on the blog hop website here . Butterflies are a symbol for Turner syndrome. For my next card, I used APC's Coffee 2 stamp set....so fun and the large wood background stamp. I am digging this background and I stamped it in vintage photo ink. The coffee cup was stamped in black on a scrap of rose designer paper, fussy cut, popped on dimensionals and cover...

Anthony’s Paper Craft and It’s a Girl Thing Turner Syndrome Blog Hop

Image
Hello everyone! Today is the Anthony's Paper Craft Design Team monthly blog hop - the first for 2021. This month we are throwing our support behind Lori Kobular and her " It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Blog Hop . Anthony's Paper Craft is one of 23 amazing sponsors on her blog hop and we thought it would be fun to show our support by doing one ourselves. According to the Turner Syndrome Foundation - The butterfly has become the symbol for "Turner Girls" because, just like a butterfly, they are considered fragile and beautiful miracles. Because it represents femininity, strength, and uniqueness, the butterfly was designated by TSSUS to become the Turner Syndrome symbol. "Butterflies fly on their own which is our hope for our girls." On March 1, Anthony's Paper Craft is releasing a brand new butterfly stamp set called Butterflies 3 and two of these sets are being offered as a prize on the “It's A Girl Thing Turner Syndrome 2021 ...

Valentine's Day with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
For this creation, I used Valentine's Day 2 and Love Frame . I stamped the hearts and fussy cut them out. Then they were placed on dimensionals. For the paper, I used a white card base and peach and black cardstock. My hearts were stamped on a random piece of designer paper. I believe it's from Basic Grey. A tiny puffy heart sticker at the top of the smaller heart was used and some pale pink pearls. Quick to make and hopefully, will make one of my Valentines' smile! Head over to anthonyspapercraft.com . Have a wonderful weekend! Pam

Getting ready for Valentine's Day with Anthony's Paper Crafts

Image
Happy Thursday! It is so exciting that the weekend is just about here! I am psyched to be sharing this creation made with Valentine's Day 2 from Anthony's Paper Craft . Such a fun and versatile set. I am also stoked to be trying my Scan & Cut to cut several of these hearts out. I used scrap designer paper and popped the hearts up on dimensionals. To add interest to the flourishes, I added some rhinestones and I believe you can't go wrong with this tulip embossing folder from SU! Lastly, I added some organza sheer ribbon and heated it....one of my very favorite things to do.

Splitcoaststampers mix and free for all challenge for 1/8/21

Image
Greetings to everyone out in blogland! I am on quest to revamp my blog and be better at posting here on a regular basis. There is always something crazy and new. I deleted my original google account as I no longer have the email address associated with it and it would NOT let me change it...so I deleted it and along with it, my original blog. Ugh. Oh, well! My card was done for the mix challenge on SCS to use at least 5 stamps and at least two mediums in our creation (has to have at least two to be considered mixed media). Also, the free for all was to use hearts and flowers. I managed two challenges....woot! This was a brushos watercolor background.  I hope that everyone is able to find some joy in the day! Hugs, Pam
