You can get 10% off of the remainder of your order by putting in my code TJ10Pam. Take a look below. There are so many possibilities with this new release! Enjoy!  My first card uses the new Fisherman in Motion (#S942) and the sentiment is from Born to Fish (#SS108). This was a background I had in my stash that I laid some Brusho powders over a honeycomb stencil..I love the simplicity of being able to stamp this guy! I used my Misti and it worked out perfectly. The sentiment was popped up on dimensionals and the image was matted with black cardstock. This image is called Wildflower Hiking Boots (SD1122) and isn’t it just fabulous? The sentiment is new-World Reveals Itself (SDX196). This was a gel plate background I had in my stash. I stamped the image in my Misti a couple of times and then colored with Arteza brush pens and die cut...

An Independence Day thank you with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Happy Thursday! I just realized that it is the 3rd Thursday of the month and my day to post. I whipped this card up pretty quick using Floral Greetings  from Anthony's Paper Crafts. I figured I would give this to the host of our 4th of July celebration coming up. I stamped it in black and colored with Zigg watercolor brush markers. I stamped the sentiment right on the can. This card measure 4.25 square and all from white card stock. Have a great weekend! Pam

Anthony's Paper Crafts celebrating Independence Day

Image
Happy June 15th! For our group posting this month, we're focusing on Independence Day or red, white and blue. I haven't crafted for a few days that I felt the need to do two creations. For my first card I used Floral Background 2  and stamped it in black. Next I colored in the flowers with a real red SU! marker. Some shimmery white dimensional paint was used for the flower centers and then I used some watercolors to flick blue onto the background. The sentiment was computer generated with the awesome site fontsquirrel.com.....the script is Dancing script. A navy border and white card base. My second card I used Woven Expressions by Jaskets Bountiful baskets  stamped in pacific point ink using the Misti. Next, I stamped the flowers from f lower baskets in black and colored in with real red ink. Shimmery white dimensional paint was used in flower centers and then I used a Kleenex crumpled up and on the pacific point ink pad and stamped the background with tissue. The basket we...

Set Sail on Father's Day with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Happy Thursday! It is nearly the weekend and some gorgeous Colorado weather. I think I will head to the nursery and get some flowers to plant. It is my turn to post for APC and our theme this month is masculine and/or nautical. I chose this beauty of a set called Nautical 1 . I decided to watercolor and chose a technique called misted watercolor. The tutorial for it can be found on splitcoaststampers.com here . I stamped the images with Versafine onyx ink onto watercolor paper. Next, I spritzed the back of my paper with water so that it will lay flat and not bow. I then spritzed the front and using a large round brush, I laid down my colors and let dry organically. I then when back in and put some more detailed color on. "on Father's Day" was computer generated and die cut with a fun die and then the "set sail" was stamped on watercolor paper...both placed on dimensionals. I just noticed that the definition of water and sky isn't evident in this photo but ...

Father’s Day with Anthony’s Paper Craft

Image
Happy Saturday to everyone in blogland! I think the nice weather “might”be here to stay. This makes me very happy. Our group post for this month is Father’s Day creations. The set I had wanted to use from APC is not here with me in the mountains, but I was pretty tickled when I came across this Owl 1 set. The sentiment was even perfect! I added the “Dad” and printed on copy paper and adhered to cardstock. The image was stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored. I used Bisque liquid pearls to add some interest to the owls’ chests. The only dimension was to the word dad and a bit of twine added. I am trying to be a bit more conscientious about keeping the cards flatter for mailing purposes...but it is hard. The struggle is real. Head on over to Anthony’s Paper Craft for some awesome stamps and supplies! Mother's Day with Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Happy Thursday! Today it is my turn to post for Anthony's Paper Craft and this month we are focusing on Mother's Day and my teammate Misty's birthday month! For my first card, I used the lovely Tile 3 . I stamped it on watercolor paper and using a combination of watercolors and Zig watercolor brush markers, I painted it and then applied clear Nuvo drops for dimension and interest. I computer generated the sentiment and this is a card I will give one of my 3 sisters.  My second card was stamped with Floral background 2 . I think this is one of my very favorite floral images from Anthony. I stamped it on white cardstock and colored with Zig watercolor brush markers. I have been into splatters lately, so I added some after adhering my computer generated sentiment with dapper denim ink from SU! A black frame added for interest and adhered to a white card base. Mother's Day cards are a struggle for me as my mom is gone. I decided to take a different approach this year and ...
